Beschreibung

ELI infrastructure is organising a workshop dedicated to industrial applications based on high-power laser technologies of Extreme Light Infrastructure (ELI) technologies located in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania.

The Extreme-Light-Infrastructure (ELI) is an emerging world-class research infrastructure that will be dedicated to the multidisciplinary research applications of a new generation of lasers delivering sources of ultra-intense high-energy particles and ultra-bright radiations in the femtosecond and attosecond timescales. Consisting of three complementary facilities located in the Czech Republic (ELI Beamlines), Hungary (ELI-ALPS) and Romania (ELI-NP), ELI is the result of a multi-national effort involving hundreds of scientists from leading international laboratories. The ELI research centres and their technologies are now being commissioned and initial operations will start in the course of 2018. As a research infrastructure, the mission of ELI will be to give the international scientific community access to its experimental facilities, but also to serve industrial users.
