The Saxion University of Applied Sciences is a higher learning educational institute (in Dutch: HBO, in German: Fachhochschule) having location in the Dutch cities of Enschede, Deventer and Apeldoorn, providing education in various disciplines to more than 26,000 students. The Nanotechnology/Nanobio research group within Saxion aims at performing application-oriented research in very close collaboration with small SMEs and industry in the field of nanobio. Within Saxion the group is closely related to the BSc programs in applied physics, chemistry, chemical technology, forensic research and biomedical engineering.
