• Recycling of composites is a high-cost process that usually needs a high amount of energy.
• There are not so many processes that could use recycled fibres. Forth is reason recycled fibers have no big value.

Challenge objectives

• Find a sustainable process to recycle composites (% of fibre recycled >70%)
• Cost of recycled fibres < cost of new fibres
